Chris Eagle joins Marex Spectron as Global Head of Foreign Exchange. He brings a wealth of experience in both trading and sales gained during his tenure at Morgan Stanley, CitiGroup and CIBC among others. Chris brings with him connectivity to important clients as well as a strong understanding of the structural changes that are occurring in one of the most liquid and competitive market places in the world.
Daryl French joins as Head of Investor Products. He has long experience of structuring and distributing structured products to retail aggregators. Daryl was previously Head of Structuring and Investor Product Sales at Credit Agricole and prior to that spent 12 years at Macquarie.
Dr Guy Wolf joins Marex Spectron as a Macro Strategist with a remit to develop a sales desk offering cross-asset class research and execution. After studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford and gaining a PhD. in Game Theory at the University of Cape Town, Guy lectured in the faculty at UCT School of Economics, before taking on a number of high profile roles at Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley. He joins from Oxburgh Partners LLP, where he was a principal partner and fund manager.
Philip Murphie joins as Head of Internal Audit from Aureos Capital – a private equity firm - where he was Head of Risk and Audit. He has previously held the position of Head of Audit at a number of international financial services organisations including Cazenove, Schroders, Reuters and GNI. Phil is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments in the UK and an Associate Certified Fraud Examiner (USA) with 20 years’ experience of forensic investigation and fraud prevention.
